THE FOUNDATION WE’RE BUILDING

Quality Stability Support

01 / OUR HOUSING MODEL

Room to reset.
A foundation to move forward.

CAN & Will Housing is developing a shared housing model for people rebuilding their lives. Our aim is a stable home environment that supports a next step toward recovery, independence, or a new chapter.

01

Quality

Thoughtfully planned shared spaces where dignity, comfort, and respect guide the home environment.

02

Stability

A goal of consistent expectations, a structured living environment, and a dependable foundation for daily life.

03

Support

A welcoming community and an aim to connect residents with outside resources as they work toward their own goals.

02 / WHO THE MODEL MAY SUPPORT

Different journeys.
A shared need for a fresh start.

We’re exploring how shared housing could support adults navigating life transitions. A person’s situation starts a conversation; it does not determine acceptance.

RECOVERY

Building a life in recovery

Adults seeking a stable living environment while continuing recovery and any needed services through outside providers.

REENTRY

Starting a new chapter

People transitioning from incarceration or another major life change who may benefit from a structured shared home.

HOUSING TRANSITIONS

Finding a steadier footing

Adults facing housing instability, including veterans and people who cannot yet afford to live on their own.

SAFETY & FAMILY NEEDS

Rebuilding after a difficult situation

Survivors of domestic violence and single parents may have additional safety or household needs that require careful review. Family placements and specialized services are not confirmed.

Gender-specific homes are part of the planning direction. Home configurations and placement criteria are still being developed; no household setup is currently confirmed.

03 / BUILT WITH PARTNERS IN MIND

A clearer next step
for the people you support.

For treatment centers, recovery programs, reentry organizations, housing navigators, and other referral partners, the goal is straightforward: understand the model and the questions to resolve before considering a placement.

Walk through a possible fit
01

Know the housing scope

Distinguish a future shared housing option from clinical care, emergency shelter, or specialized support.

02

Plan around real needs

Identify location, timing, accessibility, household needs, and outside services that matter for a future placement.

03

Prepare a useful conversation

Leave with a tailored planning note and a clear list of details to confirm when CAN & Will is ready to discuss placements.

04 / OUR PLANNED REACH

Rooted in Southern California.

Los Angeles and Orange County are our target regions. Property locations, opening dates, and availability are still to be confirmed.

PLANNING REGION / LA

Los Angeles County

Planning includes the southeast Los Angeles County area, including Norwalk. Specific cities and property addresses are not confirmed.

Confirm next: proximity to outside services, transportation, accessibility, and the actual home location.

05 / EXPLORE A FUTURE REFERRAL

Could this be a
stepping stone?

Use this short pathway to explore the planned model, surface questions, and prepare for a future partner conversation.

STEP 1 OF 3

Let’s start with where and when.

No openings are currently available. This helps distinguish future planning from a placement needed now.

Which area is being considered?
What is the planning timeframe?
A planning guide, not a placement application.

06 / A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Clarity before
the next step.

Here is what is known now, and what still needs to be confirmed.

Development-stage information
October 2026
Are homes or beds available now?

No. CAN & Will Housing is in development. No homes, bed availability, property addresses, or opening dates are currently confirmed. This website is a partner planning resource.

Is this sober living, treatment, or shared housing?

The planned direction includes sober living and supportive shared housing for adults navigating recovery or other life transitions. The exact configuration and house rules will depend on the home and are still being developed. No on-site clinical treatment, therapy, detox, medical care, or 24-hour supervision is currently offered.

Who can use the referral-fit pathway?

Treatment centers, recovery programs, reentry organizations, housing navigators, community organizations, and other prospective referral partners can use it to explore the planned model. It is not a screening or admission decision.

What if someone needs housing right away?

CAN & Will cannot provide an immediate placement at this stage. Work through your organization’s current placement resources and existing providers for time-sensitive needs. Do not plan a discharge or move around an unconfirmed future opening.

Are families, minors, or specialized safety placements supported?

The current planning direction is adult shared housing. Family accommodation, placements for minors, confidential domestic violence shelter services, and specialized staffing are not confirmed. Household and safety needs would need a separate review with an appropriate existing provider when an immediate placement is needed.

What about costs, accessibility, transportation, and house rules?

Rates, deposits, funding arrangements, length of stay, room configurations, utilities, accessibility features, transportation, staffing, and home rules are not yet finalized. Partners will need confirmed details for a specific home before considering a placement.

Does the pathway send a referral or store personal information?

No. It uses general selections in your browser and sends nothing. Answers are not stored and clear on refresh. A planning note can be copied or printed by you. Do not add a person’s name, date of birth, diagnoses, treatment records, or other sensitive information to this tool.

What should a future partner conversation cover?

Start with location and timeframe, adult or household needs, suitability for shared living, accessibility, outside services, and funding expectations. Once a home is confirmed, verify availability, costs, home rules, and the referral process. Share any personal records only through a separately confirmed, appropriate process with consent.
